Ride with us and grow with us.
Our riding, groundwork and carriage driving activities help people build confidence, balance, strength and connection through the gentle partnership with a horse.
What riding with RDAV is all about
Riding with RDAV is about more than time in the saddle – it’s about building connection, confidence and capability in a safe, supportive environment. Our programs are designed for people of all ages and abilities, supported by trained volunteers, accredited coaches and specially selected horses.
Every rider goes at their own pace. Every achievement is celebrated.

Our riding pathways
Your donation helps our centre care for horses, train volunteers and create more riding opportunities for people waiting to join.
Riding
Riding sessions focus on balance, strength, communication and confidence. Riders are supported by volunteers who lead or walk beside the horse, helping create a safe, empowering experience.
Carriage Driving
For riders who cannot sit astride a horse or prefer an alternative experience. Carriage driving builds coordination, communication and trust – and offers a sense of freedom and independence.
Groundwork
Ground-based horsemanship activities – grooming, leading, bonding and gentle communication. A great pathway for riders building confidence or developing skills before, between or instead of mounted sessions.
Competition Pathways
Some riders participate in friendly competitions or display days. These events build confidence, pride and community connection. (Technical rules and dressage tests are managed by RDA Australia.)
